The All-Russian Academy of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation (RFTA of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia) has been training specialists in the field of world economy, foreign trade, international law and logistics in foreign trade since 1931
Training of professionals in the fields of: world economy, international business management, state and municipal management, financial management, marketing activities and other areas. In addition, our graduates are fluent in foreign languages at a high level
RFTA is the only university subordinate to the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. Our students attend lectures by unique speakers from the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and undergo internships at the department, and scientists conduct research for the Ministry and form economic forecasts
Tasks
Design and implement a monolithic or microservice architecture that combines all the functions of the site and the internal systems of the academy within a single server solution, eliminating the need for a separate front-end server
Develop an adaptive, intuitive and functional interface that serves as a single point of entry for applicants, students, faculty and staff, providing everyone with relevant content and tools
Ensure deep integration with the university's internal systems and automate content filling. Solve the problem of correct parsing and importing structured data from external sources (for example, HTML uploads from Rosreestr) into a single platform database
Develop and implement an extensible role model (administrator, teacher, student, entrant, etc.) with detailed access rights to manage content, functionality and data on the platform, ensuring security and personalization

We designed and implemented a holistic server architecture that combined frontend and backend on one solution, eliminating redundancy. A reliable parsing and validation mechanism was created to work with external data (for example, unloadings from Rosreestr), ensuring their automatic integration into a single database

Challenges and approach
The development of the platform for the Foreign Trade Academy required the solution of three key tasks. First, we created a single architecture with automatic data integration. Secondly, we have developed a modern adaptive interface for all users. Thirdly, we have introduced a flexible system of roles and integration with internal services. This approach has created a centralized digital hub for academic life
